Went to Wagamama today and the food was absolutely exemplary.
I ordered the Hot Katsu Chicken Curry and it was outstanding. It had the perfect level of spice and flavour, exactly how I imagined a spicy katsu curry should taste. The “hot” version really takes it up a level with fiery chilli oil, chilli flakes and sriracha, giving it a proper kick without overpowering the dish. Unlike the original katsu curry, which I find slightly sweet and mildly spiced, this version had a much richer and more balanced flavour.
I also ordered the Hot Honey Firecracker Chicken, which was equally impressive. The chicken was beautifully crispy on the outside whilst remaining tender and juicy inside, all coated in a delicious sweet-and-spicy firecracker glaze. Absolutely packed with flavour.
A special mention also goes to the lovely Annika who served us today. She was incredibly attentive, always smiling, very helpful and offered some great recommendations throughout our visit.
Overall, a definite 10/10 for both the food and the overall experience.

Good spot with lots of varying menu options; always something different to try. Central to everything which is also a bonus.

We went here for a meal on bank holiday Monday at around 1:30pm we were greeted and seated very well and quickly and our drinks order was taken shortly after we sat down, which took around 25 minutes for 2 cokes, I’m guessing the woman on the bar was in training as she looked very frantic and disorganised like she didn’t know what to do on top of that the bar was a mess. On top of that there were Deliveroo drivers sat outside the restaurant smoking weed which was very intimidating and ILLEGAL. Other than that the service and food was great
